Emergency First Aid at Work training course
Emergency First Aid at Work Training is an effective way to acquire knowledge and skills in a short amount of time. The first aid course is based on real-life scenarios and is conducted in an interactive and engaging manner and it aims to provide the skills necessary to handle a range of emergencies in the workplace. The Emergency First Aid at Work course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), basic first aid for choking and burns, appropriate responses to fainting and how to dress minor wounds. In addition, it educates the learner about the legal requirements for providing first aid in the workplace. You will also be trained to assess the situation accurately, to ensure that you are able to demonstrate the necessary skills to keep the casualty alive until the arrival of the emergency services.
First aid responder training is an important element of workplace safety. Sharing knowledge and skills in providing first aid can help minimize the risk of accidents. The course is conducted in accordance with the recommendations of the British (European) Resuscitation Council.
After the EFAW course you will know how to assess the situation and provide the necessary help.

Employer's First Aid Training Responsibilities
Employers have a responsibility to ensure that their employees receive prompt medical attention if they become ill or injured at work. As part of this responsibility, employers must assess their first-aid requirements, considering the working environment, workforce, and potential health and safety hazards. First Aid Training is essential for designated individuals who will take charge of first-aid arrangements. With regards to the results of the safety assessment, employers must provide a properly stocked first-aid kit, appoint a person responsible for first-aid arrangements, and ensure all employees have access to information about first-aid procedures.
